With over 30 years in upstream oil & gas, I sit at the intersection of deep technical expertise and board-level governance, advising operators, EPCs, investors and governments on complex project, operational and investment decisions across the UKCS, Europe, West Africa, Middle East and Asia.I am actively pursuing Non-Executive Director and advisory board roles where my combination of engineering authority, commercial oversight and multi-jurisdiction JV governance can contribute directly to organisational performance and strategic direction.My recent work includes:• Leading CCUS facility-conversion concept studies in the North Sea, positioning me at the intersection of legacy upstream expertise and the energy transition• Overseeing feasibility and concept phases of offshore developments in Malaysia, West Africa and the UKCS, acting as client technical representative across multi-disciplinary international teams• Supporting M&A processes through evidence-based technical due diligence, translating subsurface and facilities risk into clear investment decisions• Delivering operational improvements that achieved an 11% increase in net production for MOL UK, through rigorous challenge of operator assumptions and governance-led interventionThroughout my career I have operated at board interface level, coordinating with multiple JV partners, managing work programmes of $50M–$300M, engaging regulators including BEIS, OGA and HSE, and providing technical governance briefings to senior leadership and investment committees.
