ABOUT VIVAN SORAB
My career in energy has taken me across oilfield development projects in Brunei, Egypt, and Oman, technical training in Paris and Den Haag, geological fieldwork in Spain, Belgium, and the Canadian Rockies, and more recently through innovative energy and climate technologies, critical minerals, and Generation II - IV nuclear fission in the United States and Canada. Along the way, I’ve dabbled in writing (Editor-in-Chief of a geology newsletter at an oil supermajor, journalism scholar at an Ivy League university), hosted trivia at a grad student bar, and run marathons and ultramarathons in India, Europe, and Canada.
