About Vivain Moses Honnalli
I am an independent researcher in Psychology working at the intersection of psychological science, health systems, and sociocultural analysis. My research interests span interpersonal relationships, organisational psychology, and health psychology, with a growing focus on the gut–brain axis, neurodevelopment, and inequities within healthcare systems, particularly in migrant and expatriate contexts.I have led and co-led multiple interdisciplinary research projects across academic, NGO, and organisational settings, including a Springer Nature–published team dynamics model, qualitative work on LGBTQ+ digital communities, and ongoing projects on conflict resolution in platonic relationships, culturally grounded HRD frameworks, and socio-medical perspectives on healthcare access. My current work involves laboratory-informed and conceptual research on the gut–brain axis, alongside systematic reviews and qualitative inquiry.Beyond research, I am the founder of Vivain’s Study, where I mentor students and organisations in research methodology, academic writing, and capacity building. I am particularly committed to translating complex evidence into accessible, socially responsive outputs, with an emphasis on justice, equity, and the ethical humanisation of systems. I am motivated by interdisciplinary collaboration and am actively seeking research, policy, and academic environments that value rigour, reflexivity, and impact.
