ABOUT VITTORIO GUARNIERI
Graduated in Material Science Engineering from University of Trento, Italy in 1996. In 1997 he got National qualifying examination for Engineer Profession. In April 1997 he joined the staff of the ITC-irst, Microsystems Division, working as a researcher. He was involved in the realisation of MEMS devices for application in agro-food, environmental and biomedical fields. He also gained valuable experience in operating most standard clean-room equipment. His activity at FBK-CMM (Foundation Bruno Kessler, Center for Materials and Microsystem) mainly concerned with the development of technologies for microsystems design and fabrication. In 2009, at a new spin off Company called Z2M srl, as product manager he focused on the development of innovative technologies by realising microchip devices that can help products and goods against counterfeiting problems. In January 2013 he joined the management staff of FBK-CMM (Centre for Materials and Microsystems) working as program manager of the Centre. He has been involved in the process of managing several projects in order to improve the CMM performance. In April 2016 he joined the General Secretariat staff of FBK working as Research Liaison Officer in Bruxelles. In January 2024 He joined the management team of the SD (Sensors and Devices) center of FBK, within the new PMSSG group (Project Management Support and Strategic Group), supporting the leadership in center strategy and management.
