I am a Doctor and a Chartered Engineer with international experience and a proven record of success in R&D, industrial consulting, management, strategy development/implementation and startup funding/operation. Recognized expert in modelling and simulation (CFD), in aerospace and nuclear engineering with further expertise in the chemical sector. Worked in a number of technical positions in R&D institutions, in industry and in startups. Sourced funding and managed multi-cultural engineering teams both in industry and academia. Currently PI of the 3.1Mn$ ARPA-E GAMOW project \"FERMI\". Direct exposure to senior executives in corporates. Graduated in Chemical Engineering (Ph.D.) in USA, and trained in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Business Management (Imperial College London Executive Program). Author of highly cited papers and winner of prestigious academic awards. Combines good communication skills and balanced thinking, with analytical reasoning.
