Vitor is a member of the Bank Treasury Advisory team at Deloitte. The team advises Treasures and CFOs on their trading activities, securitizations, regulations, capital management and liquidity. Vitor has more than 10 years experience delivering projects for Financial Services. Within Deloitte, Vitor acts as a Specialist Reviewer for Treasury activities for our audit practice where he reviews risk management activities, financial instruments and derivatives valuation, hedge accounting (macro and micro) and credit risk among other considerations. On the advisory space, projects have ranged from financial instruments valuations perspective (usually focusing on derivatives), technical accounting (IFRS 9 and IAS 39), control environment, policies and procedures to other major fundamental reviews - IR derivative sale processes, IR derivative compensation/remediation, litigation of close out cost for FX derivatives, impairment models and more recently transition of LIBOR.
