ABOUT VITOR ROCHA

Vitor Rocha is a global Health-tech executive with more than 20 years’ experience in the Medical devices industry and, more recently, in the Biotech sector. Vitor was born and raised in Brazil, where he personally experienced the challenges of access and cost in healthcare. Those early experiences created a passion that has fueled his journey in the health technology sector. He has led global R&D, manufacturing, and sales teams, acquired and integrated several companies to innovate and partner with customers to make healthcare more accessible, equitable, affordable, and impactful – improving the experience for patients and clinicians alike.Vitor recently joined Danaher as President of Cepheid, the global leader in the fast growing, point of care Molecular Diagnostics market. Together, the more than associates at Cepheid, serve the needs of customers and patients around the globe. As President, Vitor is leading a strategy focused on expansion of the portfolio of DNA and RNA biomarkers, market expansion and consistently driving profitable revenue growth.Prior to leading Cepheid, Vitor built deep expertise in the Imaging Diagnostics, Patient Monitoring and Imaging Guided therapy businesses while working for many years at both Philips and GE Healthcare in commercial and business unit roles. Vitor\'s experience approach has been a relentless focus on customers, innovation, global commercial optimization and leadership development.
