As an undergraduate, I collaborated with Dr. Kathryn Franich at Harvard University’s Phonetics and Phonology Lab, researching co-speech gestures in Niger-Congo languages—specifically Medʉmba, Babanki, and Igbo—and assisting with Electromagnetic Articulography (EMA) data collections. I also completed an exchange program at Korea University () in South Korea.Beyond research, I have extensive teaching experience. At NYU, I have served as a Teaching Assistant for the course “Language in Latin America,” taught by Dr. Gregory Guy, and \"Language and Mind,\" taught by Dr. Alec Marantz and Dr. Noga Zaslavsky. I am currently a TA for \"Phonological Analysis,\" working with Dr. Maria Gouskova. Previously, I worked as a Teaching Assistant for 12 courses in the Portuguese program at Pitzer College and Claremont McKenna College. Additionally, I have experience in talent attraction and recruitment at Fundação Estudar. Born in Mutum, a small town in Minas Gerais, Brazil, I have always been passionate about science.
