As a Refrigeration Design Engineer, I\'m responsible for the design, development, and validation of commercial chillers and freezers. My work combines technical expertise with practical execution, ensuring products meet performance, efficiency, and compliance standards while supporting a smooth transition from concept to production:Research, design, and develop refrigeration systems for new and existing products.Perform component selection and performance predictions.Lead and analyze product validation tests, structuring technical reports.Collaborate with engineering, project management, quality and production teams in New Zealand and China to align design, testing, and manufacturing processes.Explore new technologies to reduce environmental impact, improve energy efficiency, and enhance cabinet thermal performance.Expand and refine in-house simulation capabilities while identifying opportunities for advanced commercial tools.Manage assigned projects within time and cost targets, setting the technical direction.Drive continuous improvement in design and project execution through feedback and collaboration.Ensure products comply with Australia and New Zealand health, safety, electrical, and refrigeration performance standards as GEMS - Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards.
