ABOUT VITO IPPOLITO

For over 24 years, I have had the privilege to lead McAfee sales teams that have generated extra ordinary growth. Our success can be attributed to key fundamentals, effectively executed: hire \"right\", instill a team excellence and alignment mentality, provide the tools needed to win, create a atmosphere of individual autonomy, coaching with respect that team members deserve, and understanding customer objectives so as to align those objectives with our own goals producing a 1+1=3 result. This requires creative collaboration, an investment in people, the important work of creating customer trust/respect, a sense of urgency, and simple hard work. As a result, my teams have consistently over performed and have often been the first to win sales of new products or have delivered consequential wins. As I view my tenure at McAfee, and my team\'s overall approach in addressing ever more complex problems & opportunities, I think of Albert Einstein quote, “It’s not that I’m so smart; it’s just that I stay with problems longer”. My team\'s ability to stay with problems so as to seek new and creative solutions is one of our practical keys to success.
