At MD Anderson Cancer Center I focus on engineering and characterizing small-format antibodies and IgGs for therapeutic and imaging applications, including drug conjugates and antibody–radionuclide conjugates (ARCs).Experienced across the full antibody development workflow: PCR amplification, primer design (SnapGene), molecular cloning (Infusion cloning & T4 ligase), plasmid preparation (mini/midi/maxiprep), mammalian transfection, and purification using AKTA FPLC (Protein L, Prism A, and other columns).Skilled in analytical characterization with SDS-PAGE, HPLC, and Octet. Recent work includes conjugating antibodies with Alexa Fluor 647 to study internalization, cleavable linkers, and NLS peptide tags.Passionate about translating innovative antibody designs into effective therapeutics and imaging tools.I also engineer antibody framework regions to improve Protein L binding for purification of small format antibodies and recently began conjugating antibodies with Alexa Fluor 647 to study internalization, cleavable linkers, and NLS peptide tags.
