With a strong foundation in cybersecurity, risk management, and data privacy, I bring a focused, analytical approach to enterprise security and governance. Currently serving as an Executive Consultant at Grant Thornton Bharat, I’ve led and supported critical engagements, including cyber maturity assessments using NIST CSF, ISO 27001-based third-party risk management, RBI tokenization audits, and global data privacy assessments. My work spans across domains like ITGC testing, control design review, operational effectiveness testing, and compliance alignment—executed for high-impact clients in insurance, payments, and financial services.During my academic journey at Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology, where I completed my MBA in IT Business Management, I developed core expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, risk frameworks, and IT governance. I led significant academic projects such as a Risk Assessment based on NIST SP 800-30, Application Portfolio Assessment for enterprise IT systems, and the development of a Secure Configuration Baseline Checklist aligned with CIS Controls. These projects allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, sharpening my ability to evaluate risk posture, define mitigation strategies, and deliver security improvements.Recognized with the Award of Excellence by SCIT for my active role on the Admissions Committee, I also contributed as a core volunteer managing end-to-end admissions logistics and applicant engagement for over 500 candidates. Earlier in my journey, I completed a B.Tech in Information Technology from Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology, where I built a strong technical foundation in software development, operating systems, and network security. My certification as a CQI-IRCA Certified ISO/IEC 27001:2022 ISMS Lead Auditor from Intertek has further strengthened my capability to lead audits, assess controls, and drive ISMS implementations aligned with global standards.Across all engagements—whether academic or professional—I’ve built and refined a diverse skill set that includes IT audit, cybersecurity strategy, internal controls testing, privacy assessments, data classification, application security, stakeholder communication, and regulatory compliance.
