I firmly believe that private security is not merely a reactive force but a critical partner in proactive crime prevention and public safety.INTERNSHIPIn addition, my internship with a well-established private security consultancy—a recognized and organized player in the sector—provided me with firsthand experience of how the private security industry operates, particularly within the manned guarding segment.    Security Analyst operating within the Flipkart Security Command Centre, responsible for maintaining 24/7 security posture across thousands of nationwide hubs through integrated CCTV\'s and IDS systems. Specialised in physical security systems monitoring, real-time alert triage, and proactive threat assessment to safeguard assets and reputation. Provides \"Proactive Intelligence reports\" to the ground-team enabling proactive measures to mitigate business disruption and following losses.Key Responsibilities & Expertise:Physical Security Systems Management: Expertly integrated and remotely managed a network of CCTV and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), including Shutter Contact sensors, Cash locker sensors, Motion Sensors, ensuring security and safety through various platforms such as EZ stations, Milestone, Honeywell, Panasonic for CCTV\'s and Veracity View-Scape for alert monitoring.Real-Time Incident Response: Conducted prompt and thorough analysis of security alerts, utilising IDS alerts and CCTV review\'s to confirm and prevent real-time threats. Successfully foiled a live burglary attempt within the first month by deep-diving into sensor alerts and video playback, preventing asset loss.Proactive Threat Intelligence: Collated, analysed, and disseminated timely intelligence (e.g, weather, VIP movements, protests, traffic) to ground teams, enabling proactive measures to mitigate potential business disruption, financial, and reputation damage.Technical Proficiency: Possess foundational knowledge of CCTV\'s, Texecom and Securico IDS panels and the basics of troubleshooting of the IDS systems.
