About Vishwam Aggarwal
I am an Electrical Engineer with a core focus on Control Systems Design. I have designed and implemented advance control systems for numerous projects in robotics and industrial automation. I am very experienced in development in C/C++, especially on Embedded Microcontrollers and Microprocessors. I also have experience with development in the Linux environment using Python in addition to C/C++.I strive to develop control systems using both classical control theory using basic PIDs, as well as using modern control principles such State Space, LQR, LQG and so on. I have a vast amount of experience in implementing control algorithms, digital filters and sensor interfacing on embedded platforms such as PC104s, Atmel AVR microcontrollers, Arduinos and Teensy using both bare-metal programming, as well as using the Embedded MATLAB/Simulink environment.Having been a part of my Undergrad University\'s Robotics Club, I was engaged in Hands-On Electrical Engineering since my first semester there. I did numerous projects, almost all of them being related to Robot Design and Computer (Microcontroller/microprocessor) Programming. I headed most of the projects I undertook as a part of the club. Other than these projects done with the club, I also did projects for innumerable courses in my undergrad.I also have a Master\'s Degree in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in Control Systems. Along with the coursework, I was also working on a thesis, which was related to UAV Design and Control. This included building a drone, modelling it using first principles, designing a multi-variable controller based on this first principles model, and then identifying the system using closed loop identification techniques. The goal of the project was to design a robust multivariable controller for the diagonalized identified system based on the uncertainties obtained from the identification process.
