With 17+ years of experience navigating complex chemical and consumer-product regulations across global markets, I specialize in building scalable regulatory and compliance solutions. Most recently, served as Senior General Manager at Freyr Solutions, where I founded and scaled the Chemical Safety & Regulatory Affairs (CSRA) function into a high-performing global team of 50+ professionals. The team delivered end-to-end regulatory services across the consumer products portfolio, generated annual revenues exceeding USD 2.5M, and consistently achieved best net margins within the company. I also led the development of regulatory intelligence platforms that transformed access to regulatory data and accelerated informed, data-driven decision-making for clients.I strongly believe that compliance should act as a strategic business enabler—not a bottleneck. To support this vision, we built and implemented differentiated capabilities covering the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and innovation to market launch, post-market maintenance, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations.Key professional milestones include- Part of India’s first team that supported EU REACH compliance, delivering across the 2010, 2013, and 2018 deadlines - Led the transition to EU Cosmetic Regulation in 2013 for multiple global brands - Spearheaded regulatory dossier automation initiatives in 2015 using a “mind + machine” model - Led U.S. EPA registrations for pesticide actives (antimicrobial and antifoulant) in 2016-17 - Supported complex regulatory programs including GM crop registrations, renewals, and endocrine disruption assessments for biocidal actives - During the COVID-19 pandemic, led rapid compliance and registration of antimicrobial products and PPEs across multiple geographies - Established and scaled new regulatory service lines, including raw material compliance, packaging material / FCM compliance, cosmetovigilance, pet care products, tobacco products, fertilizers, consumer electronics and consumer healthcare products - Led seamless transition to U.S. Cosmetic Regulation (MoCRA) during 2023–24 supporting multiple cosmetic clients - Led the transition to EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) during 2024–25 for diverse product categories - Supported clients in regulatory enforcement actions, providing technical advocacy, regulatory representation, and execution of large-scale product recalls involving multi million units.
