About Vishwa Bhuta

During a parent-teacher conference, my sixth grade science teacher commented that I had to learn to control my urge to ask questions. Unfortunately for her, I didn\'t try then, and I don\'t try now. I love asking questions, because I believe that sometimes you have to ask 5 creative questions to arrive at 1 useful answer. The key is to ask the right questions. My questions, of course, have evolved over time. Now, I ask about marketing measurement and data science, and my findings have to be succinct, visually appealing and conveyed to audiences of varying technical backgrounds. Along the way, I\'ve learned the importance of choosing questions that will lead to the most actionable insights and pursuing the simplest path to an answer rather than the \'coolest\' path (thank you, Occam\'s razor). I want to continue asking questions and pursuing knowledge. I want to learn about people and why we do as we do. And I want to use data science to do it.

We work on interesting - sometimes infuriating and always challenging - problems within Marketing Measurement, such as MTA, Marketing Experimentation, and how to do all those things in a privacy-safe way.
