ABOUT VISHANT TYAGI
Chemical Engineer pursuing M.Tech from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, with a B.Tech from GGSIPU Delhi. My current research focuses on the flow behavior of polydisperse dense suspensions using LF-DEM, studying shear thickening, bi-dispersity, and rigidity transitions before shear jamming. I bring hands-on experience in process simulation (Aspen Plus, HYSYS), plant operations, and safety (HAZOP), supported by internships at Indian Oil Corporation and FET Solutions. With coursework in CFD, modeling & simulation, rheology, and granular mechanics, I’m driven to apply both theoretical insights and practical skills to solve real-world challenges in process engineering and soft matter research.
