Shoryu Ramen is a leading fast-casual Japanese Tonkotsu ramen bar (10 locations), part of Toridoll Holdings (1,900+ eateries worldwide).My key responsibilities are;• Participating in the development and the execution of the company’s overall business strategy, serving as a key member of the executive team, providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision making. • Board reporting and Company Secretarial duties.• Budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with insightful variance analysis and recommendations for improvement, delivery of the financial information to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.• Conduct financial modelling and analysis to support strategic decision making, including new store openings, franchising, acquisitions, and capital investments.• Managing cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.• Overseeing company’s transaction processing systems and MIS.• Managing the annual audit process.• Overseeing banking relationships and negotiate favourable terms, manage debt financing and equity fundraising activities, maintaining investor relations, develop and implement investment strategies.• Leading and mentoring, providing professional development opportunities for team members, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.• Driving New Business Opportunities & Optimizing Resources: Identifying and capitalizing on growth potential while maximizing efficiency.• Monitoring the outsourced accountancy provision, ensuring adherence to agreed service levels, policies, processes and controls, as well as training and development requirements of team members.• Maintaining strong internal controls to safeguard company assets. • Overseeing the development and implementation of pricing strategies, review of costs, GP margins, contract services.• Identifying financial and business risks and develop mitigation strategies, overseeing insurance and compliance matters.
