As a Design and Product Development Engineer, I am responsible for overseeing the research and development of new products and providing technical support to end-users. My role involves- Design and development of UAV and drone products within a team, utilizing software such as UG, SolidWorks, Fusion360, Catia V5 and Simulation software- Designing, modeling, analyzing, and manufacturing components using Additive manufacturing, CNC Machining, Laser cutting and advance technology and precision tooling. Conducting assemblies to ensure precise fit and adherence to ASME Y14•••18 standards- Establishing efficient production processes and creating Bills of Materials (BOM). Assisting the procurement department in decision-making and quality control- Conducting static and dynamic analysis using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess product performance under various conditions- Creating physical prototypes to validate designs and performing rigorous testing to confirm performance, including real-world environment testing of UAVs at Technology Readiness Level 8 (TRL 8).
