About Vishal Savalani
Vishal Savalani is a Senior Economist and Consultant with over 10 years of experience in conducting economic analysis, financial analysis, and forecasting. He has led and conducted several benefit-cost analyses and economic impact analyses for transportation/infrastructure, environmental, and energy related projects using Microsoft Excel,@Risk, and IMPLAN. In addition, Vishal regularly worked on freight and passenger rail related projects and state rail plans at HDR using large and complex datasets such as Transearch. During his 8.5-year tenure at HDR, Vishal served as a Senior Economist, Task Lead, and Project Manager on several economic analyses for state and local agencies where he assisted multiple agencies in securing over $500M in federal funds (e.g, TIGER, FASTLANE, INFRA, BUILD, RAISE, etc.) on infrastructure projects.Vishal joined InfraStrategies in 2021 where he was tasked with providing advisory services to the firm\'s clients in the public and private sectors.
