About Vishal Malavath
Vishal Malavath is an MBA graduate from IIM Bangalore and Mechanical Engineering Graduate from IIT Madras. He is highly interested in launching, marketing and development of brands. A person with great enthusiasm in sales and marketing, Vishal has been a case author, under the guidance of Dr Ramesh Kumar, Chair Professor of Marketing IIMB (2016-19), of a case titled \"Healthy Snacking? Consumer Mindscape, Clutter of Brands and an Ethnic Snack- Launching a new brand\"(Sent for Publication). Vishal has done his summer internship at Dr Reddy\'s Laboratories in Apr-May, 2019. Here, he had the opportunity to analyse the South East Asia and African Pharmaceutical (API - Bulk Drugs) markets and developed market entry and market expansion models for Dr Reddy\'s Laboratories\' API Portfolio. He has been offered a Pre Placement Offer for exemplary performance during his internshipHe also has an experience of sales and entrepreneurship during his stint as the head of the Personal Care category in MARS, a student run retail store. Along with it, he has been the National Finalist of the prestigious Colgate Transcend\'19, a case competition for B school students. He has been to four countries (Japan, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Bhutan), both in professional and personal capacity during his time in IIM Bangalore.
