Responsibilities:1. Structural Design and Analysis:o Conduct structural analysis and design of solar module mounting structures using STAAD.Pro, ensuring compliance with IS codes and standards.o Generate comprehensive STAAD reports and fabrication drawings based on site-specific parameters such as wind speed, soil type, terrain, and module configuration. Optimise designs for cost-effectiveness, structural integrity, and ease of installation.2. Shadow Analysis:o Perform detailed shadow analysis using industry-standard tools to assess inter-row and intra-row shading losses.o Evaluate site orientation, module tilt angles, and spacing to maximise solar energy generation.o Provide recommendations to mitigate shading issues and improve plant yield.3. Solar Plant Layout and Electrical Design:o Prepare complete layout drawings required for the execution and commissioning of the solar power plant, including: PV array layout with optimal module arrangement. Single Line Diagram (SLD) for electrical flow representation. Walkway and lifeline layouts to ensure safety and accessibility. DC and AC cable routing layouts, minimising voltage drop and cable losses. String layouts for efficient module-to-inverter connectivity. Module cleaning system layout, including water pipelines and access paths.4. Control Room Documentation:o Develop detailed engineering drawings and reports for the Inverter Control Room (ICR) and Main Control Room (MCR).o Include panel arrangements, equipment placement, earthing details, and cable entry plans.o Provide construction and commissioning support by supplying accurate status reports and ensuring drawing compliance with project specifications.
