Lead, define and execute medical activities that support the therapy area including advisory boards, scientific meetings, medical education and local evidence generation plans. • Drive UK medical strategy and plans and align with global strategies for the brand. • Expert in the therapy area and medicine, providing advice to colleagues in GSK. • Provide clinical and scientific input into brand initiatives, working closely with commercial colleagues, global medical and R&D. • Provide clinical input into NICE Health Technology Appraisal and input into UK market access strategy. • Advise on medical and ethical matters to support colleagues across GSK UK including providing medical review and certification as final medical signatory. • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the therapy area, medicine and UK governance requirements (ABPI/MHRA). • Work with the MSL teams to establish strong partnerships with key external experts/KOLs and professional groups. • Provide oversight and support to investigator-led studies and named patient programmes.
