ABOUT VISHAL KISHOR PATHAK

Namaste, I am Vishal Kishor Pathak, I am a BE Biotechnology student, my degree will be completed in June 2025 from Chandigarh University. During my academic journey, I have gained rich experience through internships at Mahavir Cancer Sansthan and Research Center in Patna, Bihar and Sabarkantha District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Limited (Amul) in Rohtak, Haryana. During my internship at Sabarkantha District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Limited (AMUL), I gained expertise in chemical testing of milk and milk products, which helped me in quality assessment. At Mahavir Cancer Sansthan and Research Centre, I honed my skills in various subjects including Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS), Elisa, Kidney Function Test (KFT), Liver Function Test (LFT), Hematology, Cell Biology and Microbiology. I participated deeply in gall bladder cancer research, interacting with patients and their parents. By collecting tissue samples from gallbladder cancer patients after surgery, as well as various biological and environmental samples, with the help of AAS I determined the levels of carcinogens such as arsenic, which helped understand the disease. Apart from Gall Bladder Cancer, I have also done projects on many other types of cancer and learned about them like “Origin and Evolution of Acute Myeloid Leukemia” and “Knowledge and Awareness of Lung Cancer: A Cross-Sectional Survey in the Indian Population \".
