As a Technical Lead at American Express, I work with a team of talented data engineers to design and implement scalable and reliable data solutions that support the global financial service group. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Purdue University, where I learned the fundamentals of data structures, algorithms, and programming languages.Some of my recent achievements include:Developing an acknowledgement processor framework that effectively acknowledges and confirms transactions processed in the GFSG file, using HiveQL, Apache Airflow, and MySQL.Building and migrating data ingestion systems to ensure accurate tracking and seamless updates of transactions for GHDC and IFSF, using Google Cloud Suite tools, Pyspark, and Google Dataproc.Implementing Amundsen for data cataloging and metadata management for the data warehouse and various data marts, enhancing data quality and governance.I am passionate about solving complex data problems and delivering value to the business and the customers. I am always eager to learn new technologies and skills, and to mentor and collaborate with other developers. My goal is to continue to grow as a data engineering leader and to contribute to the innovation and excellence of American Express.
