ABOUT SOMIL VISARIA

Somil is a budding Finance professional working with TD Bank as Manager, Business Banking. He has 7+ years of experience in M&A, FP & A, Consulting, Auditing and Accounting. His primary work comprised performing due diligence for both buy-side and sell-side clients, performing financial analysis, business advisory, financial planning and budgeting, KPI reporting and variance analysis, accounting advisory (including IFRS), developing and reviewing the financial models and valuations, M&A advisory and reviewing shareholders\' agreements. From the initial phase of career, he got an opportunity to work independently as well as in a team, which has helped him to be a self-starter, have close attention to detail, develop leadership and strong execution skills. His experience varies across diverse sectors such as banking, manufacturing, infrastructure, pharmaceutical, financial services and the tech-startups. Exposure to diverse sectors, along with his quick learning and strong analytical skills, helps him to effectively understand different businesses, their financials and the capital markets. By qualification, he is a Chartered Accountant from India having secured an All India Rank 33 in CA Final and an All India Rank 10 in CPT (Entrance exam) across students. He has also cleared all levels of the CFA Program (charter pending). Technical skills: Advanced proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
