In my current role as a Scientist I at EDDC, I focus on developing and validating assays that support drug discovery programmes. I design and execute functional cell-based assays to evaluate therapeutic targets, providing critical preclinical insights into safety, toxicity, and efficacy. I also optimise multicolour flow cytometry for immune cell profiling and perform immune-related experiments, including PBMC isolation and dendritic cell differentiation, to assess immune responses.My work further involves applying molecular and immunoassays such as CTG, HiBiT, ELISA, and Western blotting to measure target engagement and downstream signalling. Beyond technical expertise, I collaborate with in vivo biology, translational research, and medicinal chemistry teams to align assay strategies with programme goals, present findings effectively, and ensure rigorous documentation that supports transparent decision-making. • Design and validate cell-based assays for preclinical evaluation of therapeutic targets• Optimise and apply multicolour flow cytometry for immune cell activation and profiling• Conduct immune-related experiments, including PBMC isolation and dendritic cell differentiation• Perform molecular and immunoassays (CTG, HiBiT, ELISA, Western blotting) for target validation• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align research with programme milestones• Present research outcomes using GraphPad Prism and scientific presentations• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic lab notebooks (ELN)
