   Phamily was developed by a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, engineers and healthcare executives with decades of clinical, product development and management experience at major global institutions, including the World Health Organization, AT & T, Barclays & J.P. Morgan.Although we are highly experienced in the realms of medicine, healthcare and technology, it’s actually our personal experiences with the anxieties of managing medication and helping to take care of sick loved ones that drove us to create Phamily. We understand how challenging it is just to manage your personal healthcare, especially when you’re at home and not under medical supervision. Like most of you, we naturally turned to the people who care about our health the most, our close family and loved ones.Family members are highly motivated to make sure that we properly follow our medical regimens and are typically the first to diagnose problems when things don’t seem right. But our family members are not responsible for our healthcare – our doctors are. Yet doctors all too often don’t have the same level of information about our healthcare that our family members do.With that in mind, we established our mission of trying to address the core problem in healthcare outside the office or the hospital setting – improving communication between physicians and family to better coordinate patient care.We believe that people live longer, healthier, and happier lives when patients and their families are more involved with their healthcare and when they are able to see their doctors more regularly. These bonds of love and trust are more than just emotions, they are the foundation of our own well-being.
