ABOUT VIRGINIA CIMINO
My main objective is to approach the art world from a managerial perspective. I have a background in Business Administration with extensive studies in Marketing that I have completed in different countries: at the Faculty of Economics in Torino (Italy), at Copenhagen Business School (Denmark) and at Columbia University (U.S). I have graduated from an MBA in Arts and Cultural Management organized by a partnership between two Paris-based schools: IESA (Institut d’Études Supérieures des Arts) and PSB (Paris School of Business). In parallel to my academic path, I have tried to shape my work experiences as to revolve predominantly around the art world. I had the opportunity to gather insights in numerous environments within the Modern and Contemporary art sector, as my work experiences range from working at art fairs, in art foundations, commercial galleries, non-profit art organization and museums. These include: Guggenheim Museum, Galerie Birch, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Artissima, David Risley Gallery, among others. I currently work at the Museo Egizio, where my role is that of project manager for exhibitions.
