ABOUT VIRGINIA BOHORQUEZ
I’m a graduate student at the University of South Florida pursuing an M.S. in Financial Analytics with a FinTech concentration and a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics. My academic work focuses on data analytics, programming, and machine learning, with an interest in how data-driven insights can support better financial and business decisions.I work with tools such as Python, R, SQL, Excel, and Tableau to analyze data, build predictive models, and communicate insights through clear visualizations. I enjoy translating complex data into practical insights that help teams make more informed decisions.Alongside my technical work, I’ve developed leadership and collaboration skills through roles such as Finance Lead for USF Women in Tech & Entrepreneurship and Graduate Assistant at the Bellini Center for Talent Development, where I help support programming and build dashboards that track engagement metrics.I’m currently exploring Summer 2026 internship opportunities where I can contribute to real-world challenges in finance, data analytics, or emerging financial technologies while continuing to grow as an analyst and problem solver.
