Major Responsibilities;Administer the IT budget to optimise resource allocation and adhere to financial constraints.Orchestrate the evolution, implementation, and management of the company\'s IT infrastructure in compliance with regulatory standards. Spearhead all IT activities pertaining to Power Conversion sites in UK and branch offices in ASPAC. Report to CTO and establish a dotted line connection to CIO for streamlined communication and collaboration.Key Deliverables;• Drove the implementation of a DMZ area for collaborative working with other nations\' naval projects, ensuring seamless connectivity and information exchange.• Addressed the new requirement of NNPPI OS and above collaborative working, aligned with the UK Gov\'s Cyber Security Model, and attained cyber essential plus certification and MOD registration (Formally DART).• Oversaw and collaborated with a strategic partner to deliver the new domain, ensuring a smooth transition to a business as usual (BAU) state as outlined in the agreed statement of work (SOW) by March 2024, prior to Vernova Separation.• Led KPI/SLA management to ensure the efficient performance and reliability of IT services.• Directed IT team and optimised skills/resources to support all members in leveraging technology for respective functions.• Collaborated with the UK cyber leader to strategise and execute a new regulatory-controlled domain for daily operations of UK-based personnel, outside but connected to the standard GE domain.
