About Virginia See

I am a speech-language pathologist in the Edmonds School District, north of Seattle, working with preschool and elementary children. I love every aspect of working with individuals with communication disorders, and the families who support them. Before becoming an SLP, I had been working as an editor/technical editor and project coordinator, mostly in the environmental engineering and consulting field, but I missed teaching and the one-on-one or small group interactions I had experienced as an ESL teacher in my previous work. After some soul-searching and research, I found the career that combined my love of science and the way human brains work with my passion for language and communication: speech-language pathology. And that\'s how I got where I am today!
