About Virginia Morrison

I am the proud leader of Second Chance Beer Co. We are a female-lead, independently-owned craft brewery in the Carmel Mtn Ranch community of San Diego, with a satellite tasting room in North Park. At Second Chance, we are known for our award-winning beers, currently distributed throughout San Diego, LA, Orange, Riverside Counties and the state of Arizona. Beyond just making PAWmazing beer, our mission is to give pups a second chance through support of dog rescues. My focus as a CEO extends beyond the success of our company, to strategic visioning, corporate culture, team development, community enhancement and Seizing Pints, and Saving Pups. As a lawyer, I also handle our legal needs and - other small business owners will understand - pitch in as necessary to GSD (Get Shit Done). Committed to inclusivity, I Co-Chair the Brewers Association\'s DEI Committee and have served on the BA Board the last 3 years. Prior to that, I was President of the San Diego Brewer\'s Guild, where I also founded the DEI Committee. Outside the brewery, I am an avid meditation practicioner, yogi, and occasional runner - my marathon days are over.
