ABOUT VIRGINIA B FREEMAN

I am passionate about my role as a wound, ostomy, and skin care nurse, however my focus has trended towards pressure ulcer prevention education and prevention of skin breakdown related to incontinence associated dermatitis. Why- because prevention is the best thing for all patients and for the most part is achievable. All aspects of a wound nurses responsibilities continue to fascinate me. No matter the age of the patient, the nursing care I am providing bring many personal rewards and work satisfaction.
