Virendra is an accomplished quantitative investment professional with over 13 years of experience in the Indian capital markets, specializing in systematic equities, derivatives (F&O), and alternative investment strategies. His expertise spans the entire lifecycle of quantitative investing, from alpha discovery and model development to portfolio construction, execution, and risk management.He currently serves as Fund Manager with JioBlackRock Mutual Fund.Previous to this he was Head of Quantitative Research and Fund Manager at InCred Capital, where he leads (Hedge Fund Strategies) multi-strategy long-short portfolios under AIF Category and Managed Accounts. His work involved developing and managing strategies across market neutral, volatility, statistical arbitrage, event-driven, and long-only alpha styles, executed within a hedge fund framework.In his leadership role, Virendra also manages the Quantitative Research and Development team, overseeing the buildout of research infrastructure, investment platforms, and model deployment pipelines.
