ABOUT VIREN SHAH

Viren Shah is Director of Scoops Ice Cream and Cream Stone Concepts (2007).Founded in 1989, Scoops offers 100% vegetarian ice creams in a range of classic & innovative flavors which have enabled over outlets and 36 distribution centers. Scoops Ice Cream holds a firm position in 5-star hotels, IT companies, tourist spots and shopping malls. The company also caters to high-profile events.Cream Stone Ice Cream Concepts was started in 2009 & just 7 short years later established its presence across South India. The concept of making Ice Cream on stone, with a vast variety of customizable flavors and toppings, gives customers a dreamy experience & has made Cream Stone a household name.Here are some lesser known facts about us-> The Shah family moved to Hyderabad 5 generations ago & ventured into various businesses in the Nizam’s Estate in Parmani and Aurangabad-> The 3rd generation brothers, Parmanandas Shah and Madanmohan Das Shah eventually started Hotel Haridwar for which Govindas Shah (the former\'s son) used to scout for customers at the railway station at an early age of 18-> At an exhibition in Delhi, Govindas Shah saw a machine in which on pouring milk, ice cream would come out. Since we were running a hotel and buying ice cream from others, we thought why not make our own ice cream. This was the turning point for us and this is how Scoops was conceived-> The younger generation — Amrish and Viren — joined the business and started expanding it. In 2004, they created a separate brand called Temptations, which has close to 20 stores-> In 2009, they introduced a brand new concept store called Cream Stone, an interactive format where the ice cream is made on coldstone and one can customize them as per their tastes-> From Hyderabad, we moved to Vijayawada, Vishakapatnam, Bangalore, Chennai, Indore, Pune, Coimbatore, Sholapur, Calicut, Kochi, Suryapet, Nellore, Kolapur and Bhuvaneshwar. Currently, we are spread across 15 cities and continue to add more cities in our portfolio-> Lastly, our flavors haven\'t failed to entice the best minds in Indian businesses, including Mukesh Ambani who loves our Willy Wonka and Fererro Rocher concepts.
