ABOUT VIRAJ MESTRY
I am an enthusiastic engineer with a Master\'s degree from Concordia University in Electrical and Computer Engineering. During my master\'s research program, I worked on the development of supervisory control for autonomous systems, where I developed algorithms using Matlab and C programming language. My main areas of specialization are Discrete Event Systems, modelling & simulation and instrumentation. Naturally, as an engineer, my curiosity for learning and delving deep into mathematical concepts led me to learn other object-oriented programing languages where I have command of python and C++. Also, during my master\'s studies, I worked as a teaching assistant, where I have over 1+ years of experience in teaching control system courses. Apart from just learning programming languages, I have been learning French for more than 1 year. Moreover, during my free time, I enjoy reading books and technical papers, watching soccer and travelling.
