Viraj is a management professional with experience in strategy & business management, especially in healthcare & lifesciences. Currently, he serves as cluster head leading the overall business of Roche Products India in Uttar Pradesh, and is a member of the India enabling team.Earlier, he was responsible for strategy design & management at Roche Products India. His responsibilities included shaping the strategy & operating model for the Indian affiliate, and supporting overall execution through business analytics, digital tools & governance processes. He built & led teams to facilitate generation & consolidation of strategic insights for the organization. He also led the digital strategy for India, to generate insights & facilitate governance, for Roche India to evolve into a future-ready organization.Previously, Viraj led strategy consulting engagements at IQVIA Consulting Group, based out of their Mumbai office. Most of these engagements were in healthcare, looking to solve complex problems for senior management in pharma & lifesciences organizations, or (in the form of commercial due diligence pieces) to advise private equity firms looking to invest in pharma. As a healthcare consultant, Viraj has had the privilege of managing client relationships and being a part of ~45 strategy engagements with exposure to various markets - India, Southeast Asia, Europe and the US. In his prior experience, Viraj has also worked with clients in other sectors, including energy, hospitality and defence. Viraj is passionate about healthcare access, and fortunate to be a part of India\'s healthcare evolution.
