   I am dedicated to shaping the future of cybersecurity education in India through a hands-on, practical approach. My mission is to equip the next generation of professionals with the skills and mindset needed to excel in a rapidly evolving landscape.My work is centered on three key pillars:1. Pioneering Cybersecurity Competitions:As the visionary behind India CTF (InCTF), I led the launch of the country\'s first-ever CTF-based cybersecurity training in 2010. This initiative has been crucial in building a national foundation for competitive cybersecurity skills. To further expand this ecosystem, I also founded InCTF Junior to introduce school students to cybersecurity and co-founded ShaktiCon.com, a premier cybersecurity conference.2. Mentoring Top-Tier Talent:I serve as the Chief Mentor for Team bi0s, India\'s top-ranked CTF team, which has held the #1 spot in India for the past 10 years. I also founded Team Shakti, India\'s first women-only CTF team, to promote diversity and inclusion in the field. Additionally, as the Founder and Chief Mentor of FOSS@Amrita (amfoss.in), I foster a culture of open-source contribution and collaborative problem-solving among students.3. Academic and Research Leadership:In my role as a Professor at the Amrita Center for Cybersecurity Systems and Networks, I integrate these initiatives into our curriculum, ensuring students not only gain theoretical knowledge but also practical experience that is highly valued by the industry.Through these combined efforts, I am committed to building a robust cybersecurity ecosystem in India, nurturing diverse talent, and empowering students to become industry leaders.
