ABOUT VIOLA D.

Driven by scientific curiosity and the conviction that rigorous biomarker science accelerates better medicines for patients.I am a translational biomarker scientist with over 15 years of experience spanning basic research and early clinical oncology development. At CureVac, I lead the biomarker strategy for Phase I/II immuno-oncology trials – from assay conception and GCP-compliant validation through clinical data delivery, interpretation, and governance-level communication. As a core CPT member, I contribute to clinical development strategy, and cross-functional decision-making well beyond the classical biomarker remit. My scientific foundation in immunology, molecular biology, and biochemistry gives me the mechanistic depth to ask the right biological questions in a clinical context. My pharmacist\'s training adds a patient-centred and regulatory perspective that complements the scientific work.I thrive at the interface of science and strategy: translating complex immunomonitoring data into clear development decisions, leading cross-functional teams across Clinical, Medical, Bioinformatics, Statistics, and Regulatory functions, and representing programs in high-stakes internal and external forums.Disclaimer: This is my personal account and I am NOT speaking on behalf of any of my current or past employers
