Framatome mechanical surveillance engineers (EIRA team) are in-charge of the surveillance activities in manufacturing and installation of nuclear island equipments for Hinkley point C power plant (Building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in Britain providing zero-carbon electricity for around six million homes)• Works in close coordination with framatome cross-functional teams from Quality, Installed Base, Engineering, and Procurement to ensure conformity and regulatory adherence in the installation of nuclear island primary equipment within the HR building.• Assist with the review, mark-up and approval of inspection and testplans (ITP\'s), EOMR, EISR.• Conduct surveillance activities in line with the ITP/FUD and adhereto the surveillance plan.• Ensure the installation of critical nuclear components, such asRPV, SG, and pumps, adheres to ECS code, drawings, and meets nuclear safety and quality standards.• Ensure that the relevant technical documentation set, including thewelding data book, non-destructive testing procedures, and installation procedures, is approved and complete in accordance with RCC-M requirements.• Advocate for foreign material exclusion (FME), ensuring that non-specified materials, loose items, and debris are prevented from entering or becoming trapped in equipment or systems during assembly.• Contributed to the achievement and maintenance of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by monitoring performance metrics and implementing improvement strategies.• Ensure that the storage conditions for nuclear equipment comply with the specified requirements.• Directly reporting non-conformance activities to surveillance manager, assist in NQE preparation, and attend meetings to verify promotion to NCR.• Ensure the corrective actions are implemented based on technical-analysis and assist the quality team in closing the NCR.
