About Vinod Vyas

seasoned Product Manager backed by QA Lead experience, in the IT industry. Started my career as a \'Test Engineer\' and have always keen in knowing how the IT industry actually works. Life gives us the answers to what we seek and so, I have managed to find quite a few answers to my \'how\' question, and still learning. My Career Progression looks something like this : Trainee Test Engineer -> Test Engineer -> Sr. Test Engineer -> Test Lead -> Sr. Business Analyst (Technology + Presales)-> Lead Business Analyst My QA background helps me think of various possible scenarios and use-cases, which helps in creating better work-flows and user stories. Also had a chance to work with the pre-sales BA team, which helped me know how a RFP (Request for Proposal) is managed and how it transforms into a SOW (Statement of Work) and later a final project contract. This also helped me in getting insights of project cost estimation, resource loading, Project Kick-offs and project management. As a Product Manager, I not only intend to empower the clients with the best possible technology solutions for their requirements but also enable my organization to get more business by sharing ideas and thoughts that clients can implement, to get best out of their products. I have always been fascinated by the education industry. Though initially I got into it by chance, I have now taken a conscious decision of sticking on to it. Not only does it have a vast scope but it also gives a feeling of doing my bit for the society by giving back a bit in the form of assisting education providers and indirectly assisting the learners. Education is one of the most important things, be it a formal degree or knowledge shared through informal posts. Being able to contribute to this transfer of knowledge gives me a sense of satisfaction. Working towards enhancing my knowledge as I move ahead.
