As a global cloud (VMC on AWS) migration lead for data center exits, leading & getting technology transformation done by migrating 100s of of servers from APAC, EMEA and North America DCs to cloud-AWS.During my life as an independent contractor & consultant (via PTS consulting) between Apr 2015 and 2021 at State Street, as a senior project / programme manager, successfully managed of a number of Global Open Systems Service Delivery Projects covering full project lifecycle. Projects includes global server consolidation / virtualisation, migration of mission critical servers & investment banking applications to new infrastructure, server builds, data centre migration / relocation, technology & infrastructure automation (IaC - Infrastructure as Code)- Server Build & Patching, PoC, Service Delivery - continuous service improvement & service transition projects using on-site and offshore / 3rd Party resources and various project & service management frameworks. These projects delivered value in terms of improved applications performance, saving of maintenance cost, big reduction in data centre rack space & power consumption, reduction in MIs, improved environments stability, significant reduction in execution and processing duration for patching and server build activities due to automation.
