Regularly visit the shop floor and plant premises and some time on project site to interact with area officers to improve safety/work environment. Promoting a positive health and safety culture throughout the organization & also project site. Identifying, monitoring, and assessing hazards, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions at work and also reporting and investigation of all accidents. Plan effectiveness measures for control of damage to personal, environmental & property Review of SOPs and internal procedures related to safety practices for adequacy. Prepare & review EPP plans and provide fire and safety drills, induction & training for all new employees & workers, and other safety training on health & safety policiesto the subordinates, peers, and other persons available on the premises. Ensuring the effective implementation of the LOTO, work permit system, ISO 14001:2015 & 45001:2018 systems. Maintaining EHS legal statutory compliances & it’s documents. Conducting health & safety committee meetings and internal review meetings, prepare and circulate minutes of the meeting. Coordination with the company management with the Safety rules and regulations as per statutory requirements (Factories Act 1948, Maharashtra Factories Rules 1963, Pollution control board), CGWA & PESO authority. Organize employee involvement and motivation programs like National Safety Day / Week Celebrations, Environment Day, Road Safety Week & Fire Service Day. Prepare and circulate Occupational Health & Safety statistics (MIS) to management and employees. Coordinate with outside government bodies such as the Fire Department, DISH & MPCB to ensure information exchange and mutual assistance.
