ABOUT VINOD CHILKOTI
I am a competent professional having a rich professional experience of over 15 years in consulting, research and teaching in the areas of Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering and Climate Change impacts assessment on infrastructure. I have been delivering the assignments within the available budget, at the same time maintaining the job quality and work ethics.My consulting experience includes carrying out hydraulic modeling and design, hydrologic assessment, hydrotechnical engineering, civil designs and feasibility studies. I have been associated with various projects ranging from hydropower, hydraulic structures, river engineering, mine water, stormwater and irrigation. I had worked in the capacity of Engineer and Manager with leading consulting firms in India and in Ontario, Canada. I am a licensed engineer in Ontario.I have completed my PhD, where my research was focused on improved hydrologic simulations and assessing the impacts of climate change on streamflow and on hydropower generation. The research also included adaptation of hydropower to mitigate the impacts of climate change which was achieved by modifying the reservoir rule curves through the application of multi-objective reservoir optimization.
