As the Product Manager for the Traffic Safety division within this company devoted to the design and manufacture of innovative laser-based speed and distance measurement devices, my responsibilities are to provide the management and administrative effort required to plan, organize, control and report on a complete product development lifecycle within the confines of the functional organization structure. I work closely with Engineering in defining products, Operations on product set up, planning and management and with the Sales and Support team to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Identify, develop and sustain growth opportunities for the Traffic Safety division while working to evolve and deliver a product strategy for the existing speed enforcement equipment as well as conceiving, creating and delivering new products. This position emphasizes the market-facing side of “Product Management” with specific focus on product definition, positioning, distribution strategy, pricing, promotion and life cycle management of the Traffic Safety division.
