ABOUT VINITH KUMAR LAKSHMANAN
I am currently a research engineer at Institut Français du Pétrole Energies Nouvelles (IFPEN), France. My goal is to obtain energy efficient (eco-driving) speed trajectories for Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAVs) in different driving scenarios, eg. car-following, intersection, lane-change, etc. Different levels of cooperation amongst the CAVs is considered and its influence of the overall fleet energy consumption is studied. I use tools from optimal control theory for my research.
