About Vinit Unni
I am a final year PhD student in the Dept. of Computer science and engineering at IIT-Bombay under the guidance of Prof. Preethi Jyothi. Most of my work is in the area of Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) with special focus on domain adaptation/generalisation within speech (accent, LM, channel, etc.). Prior to this, I have had 3+ years of industrial experience in the field of mechanical and electronics design for vehicle technologies. I obtained my B-Tech and M-Tech in Engineering Design (spec. in Automotive engineering) from IIT-Madras.
