About Vini Pathak
Sustainability and climate-smart agriculture leader with 13+ years of experience designing, implementing, and scaling impact across global agricultural value chains in Asia, West Africa, and Latin America. My career spans the full system - from grassroots implementation to global corporate strategy. I began my journey in rural India, implementing a World Bank–supported climate-smart agriculture program that increased incomes for women farmers. That experience continues to shape how I work today: sustainability must be grounded in farmer realities, informed by robust evidence, and designed to scale.Since then, I have worked across the sustainability ecosystem - global corporations, local and national governments, multilateral and bilateral agencies, and NGOs - to design, implement, and measure the impact of programs and strategies focused on climate-smart agriculture, digitization, women’s empowerment, rural livelihood transformation, and ecosystem protection.Currently, at Mars Food, I lead sustainability analytics and programs across the global value chain. My work focuses on advancing climate-smart agriculture, living income, deforestation- and conversion-free supply chains, and emissions reduction - translating ambition into actionable, data-driven outcomes.I am passionate about bridging data, strategy, and field realities, ensuring sustainability commitments deliver measurable value for farmers, businesses, and the planet.
