Employed in Shell Technical Asset Operations at Chennai as a Maintenance planner and Supporting Scotford Refinery and Chemicals -Canada.Planning preventive, Corrective/breakdown maintenance work orders on a wide range of equipment in accordance with the Site Practices, Inspection & Maintenance Manuals and manufacturer\'s specifications.Perform regular planner duties includes initiating orders, notifications, maintenance work-orders,Purchase order creation, planning the activities with required resources, ordering materials, and track all the maintenance activities.Prepare detailed job step plans in proper execution sequence, with details of craft man-hour and crew size requirements.Using SAP Preventative Maintenance (PM) notifications and work orders to manage work processes to ensure all equipment is maintained per scheduled maintenance plans in a timely manner.Liaising with the schedulers, maintenance team leads, Craft team members, procurement teams, expeditors, and engineering teams to ensure that the work orders were prioritized and planned efficiently.Supporting the implemention of the continuous improvement of maintenance programs and tasks.Working closely with technical support staff, engineering staff, operations staff, and other stakeholders to maintain system reliability and availability.Managing Shell Scotford stakeholder business units through effective communication and identifying & resolving the bottlenecks for data analysis, maintaining issue logs and use the same in implementing changes / improvements in the processes.
